Optimizing & validating a new range of iced teas

Taylors of Harrogate wanted to rapidly optimize and validate its new Yorkshire Tea Iced range, using iterative research to make sure it was ready for market.

Approach.

Embracing the speed and efficiency of Product Hub, Taylors used our pre-launch solution to optimize and validate a new range of Yorkshire Tea Iced Teas. Consumers tested an initial prototype vs. a key competitor, with diagnostics, penalty analysis and Sensory Portrait™ guiding recipe optimization. Updated Lemon and Peach & Raspberry variants were then re-tested to confirm launch readiness.

Outcome.

Iterative testing with consumers during the development phase allowed Taylors to identify optimization opportunities and then validate that the products were ready for launch – giving them the confidence their liquids were delivering on consumer expectations of the brand and the category.
